CGI Federal A-123 Analyst

CGI Federal is seeking an experienced A-123 Analyst to oversee the implementation, management, and maintenance of internal control frameworks for an SAP S/4HANA migration for a large Federal government agency. These frameworks should ensure compliance with OMB Circular A-123 requirements. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks, develop control procedures, and monitor compliance activities. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in internal controls, compliance, or financial auditing with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP solutions. This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures in alignment with OMB Circular A-123, utilizing SAP modules (e.g., SAP FI/CO, GRC) for financial reporting and compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and document control activities within SAP to mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Train and guide staff on internal control best practices and compliance requirements, including SAP-specific workflows and reporting tools.
• Prepare and present compliance reports to senior leadership and regulatory bodies, leveraging SAP analytics for data-driven insights.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls within SAP, recommending improvements to enhance system efficiency and compliance.
• Configure and maintain SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules to support A-123 compliance and automate control monitoring.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize SAP system configurations for enhanced internal controls and audit readiness.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work.
• In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in internal controls, compliance, or financial auditing.
• In-depth knowledge of OMB Circular A-123 and federal financial management regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP solution(s).

Compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $190,900.00.
