Our client in Hayward is seeking a Temporary AP Clerk to join their team. In this role, you will be an essential part of the finance department supporting the accounts payable team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, and proficiency with financial software, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk - Temporary

Location: Hayward, WI

Pay Range: $18/hr

Shift: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri

What's the Job?

• Verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness, matching them to purchase orders and confirming receipt of goods or services.
• Schedule and issue payments to vendors in a timely manner.
• Reconcile accounts payable statements to identify and correct discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and organize all purchase-related documentation systematically.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies or issues efficiently and professionally.

What's Needed?

• Strong attention to detail to ensure invoice accuracy and precise record keeping.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
