Job Summary:

Moonlight Mountain Recovery — an award-winning behavioral health and addiction treatment center — is searching for a true specialist in AI-driven development and automation . This is not an entry-level role, and not a position where someone will “figure out AI along the way.”

We need someone with proven, real-world experience using generative AI, automation tools, and AI-workflow integrations to build a mobile app, streamline digital processes, and produce smart digital media solutions.

If you are already highly skilled in AI tools, automation APIs, GPT integrations, and modern app development frameworks , this is the perfect contract/part-time opportunity.

About the Role:

This position blends AI engineering , app development , and digital media creation . Your primary responsibility is to build a mobile app and transform manual processes into efficient, automated digital systems using AI.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Engineering & Automation (Primary Focus)

• Architect and implement AI-powered features in our mobile app (automated reminders, chat assistance, progress tracking, scheduling, etc.).
• Build automations using AI tools such as GPT-based APIs, Zapier, Make.com, LangChain, or similar frameworks .
• Create personalized user experiences through AI-driven workflows and data insights.
• Identify manual processes that can be automated and streamline them using AI-powered tools.

App Development

• Build a mobile app (iOS/Android) using a modern framework (Flutter, React Native, etc.).
• Integrate secure communication and client engagement features.
• Manage updates, testing, and deployment in either app store ecosystem.

Digital Media (Secondary Focus)

• Shoot and edit professional videos : facility tours, client testimonials, and promotional campaigns.
• Produce digital content that tells powerful stories of recovery and transformation.

Required Qualifications (Non-negotiable)

You MUST have professional experience in:

• AI development or AI automation engineering (GPT / APIs / AI agents)
• AI workflow tools: Zapier, Make.com, LangChain, ReTool, Bubble.io, or similar
• Mobile app development (Flutter, React Native, Swift, or Kotlin)
• Video editing (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve)

If you have only used ChatGPT casually, or have not integrated AI into real systems, this is not a fit.

Preferred Skills (bonus, not required)

• Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or software for service-based businesses
• UX/UI design or web design (WordPress, HTML, CSS)

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time or Contract (10–25 hours/week OR project-based)
• Remote or hybrid (optional workdays in Idaho offices)
• Competitive hourly/project pay based on experience
