Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage the leasing process for residential properties, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every prospective and current resident. The ideal candidate brings exceptional customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of property leasing practices — all while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and engage prospective residents, conduct property tours, and showcase available units and community amenities.
Provide detailed information on pricing, lease terms, and property features.
Manage the full application process, including data entry, background verification, and lease preparation.
Maintain accurate records of leads, tenant interactions, and lease agreements in compliance with company policies.
Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations and company standards throughout the leasing process.
Address tenant inquiries, resolve concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service.
Collaborate with the maintenance and facilities teams to ensure all units and common areas are well-presented.
Utilize CRM and property management software to track leads, manage follow-ups, and optimize leasing activity.
Assist in marketing efforts, including online listings, social media promotions, and community events to drive occupancy.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.
Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping with high attention to detail.
Working knowledge of leasing processes , from applications to contract execution, preferred but not required.
Familiarity with Fair Housing laws preferred but not required
Experience with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio, etc.) is a plus.
Professional phone etiquette and polished interpersonal skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, as needed.
