Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage the leasing process for residential properties, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every prospective and current resident. The ideal candidate brings exceptional customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of property leasing practices — all while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and engage prospective residents, conduct property tours, and showcase available units and community amenities.

• Provide detailed information on pricing, lease terms, and property features.

• Manage the full application process, including data entry, background verification, and lease preparation.

• Maintain accurate records of leads, tenant interactions, and lease agreements in compliance with company policies.

• Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations and company standards throughout the leasing process.

• Address tenant inquiries, resolve concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service.

• Collaborate with the maintenance and facilities teams to ensure all units and common areas are well-presented.

• Utilize CRM and property management software to track leads, manage follow-ups, and optimize leasing activity.

• Assist in marketing efforts, including online listings, social media promotions, and community events to drive occupancy.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.

• Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping with high attention to detail.

• Working knowledge of leasing processes , from applications to contract execution, preferred but not required. 

• Familiarity with  Fair Housing laws preferred but not required

• Experience with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio, etc.) is a plus.

• Professional phone etiquette and polished interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, as needed.
