Job Summary

LDB Beverage seeks an accounting-centric team member. The position will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day accounting and compliance activities of the organization but will likely become involved in portions of purchasing and business analysis, as they relate to the primary accounting function.

The ideal candidate is detail- and solution-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. If the idea of defining, breaking, fixing, and implementing processes that have been outgrown appeals to you, this may be a great fit. 

Responsibilities 

• Enter and verify the accuracy of daily financial data and transactions, including AR/AP


• Prepare trial balances


• Cash cycle management, cash flow forecasting


• Bank/account reconciliations


• Preparation of financial reports


• Analyze budgets and other financial information


• Complete the required tax reporting, both at the State and Federal levels


• Organization of accounting records (digital & physical)


• Develop/improve role policies and procedures


• Foster and maintain good working relationships with outside business partners and customers


• Ensure confidentiality and control access to sensitive information

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate degree in accounting


• Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position


• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)


• Competency with QuickBooks and the Microsoft Suite


• Strong mathematical and analytical skills


• Excellent written and oral communication 


• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills


• Team mentality; must work well in a team environment 


• Dependable, accepts responsibility, completes tasks, and is accountable to the rest of the team


• Good judgment and decision-making


• Initiative - seeks to improve processes for the benefit of the organization

Compensation: $0.24 per hour
