Job Description
Svendsen’s Bay Marine is a full-service boatyard located in Richmond California on San
Francisco Bay. We haul-out and repair sail and power yachts, Coast Guard vessels, water
taxis, tugboats, pilot boats and marine vessels of all kinds. We are factory certified dealers for
Volvo Penta, Northern Lights/Lugger, John Deere, Cummins, Suzuki Repower Center, Steyr
Engines and Hamilton Jet.
We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic qualified in the installation, maintenance
and repair of diesel engine systems. Daily tasks range from basic engine service to complete
vessel repowers. This position requires an experienced journeyman mechanic able to work
with little direct supervision and the ability to diagnose and repair engine, transmission
generator mechanical or electrical systems.

John Deere, Cummins, Hamilton Jet, Steyr Engines and ABYC certifications. We
