About the Role:

Our client are seeking a dedicated Food Safety & Quality Manager to oversee and ensure the implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) programs at their Cambridge, MD facility, specializing in aseptic processing. This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to producing safe, high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee QA programs including Formula Control, Allergen Control, Non-Conforming Products, Recalls, Food Safety Plans, and pest control.
  • Serve as the plant's liaison for regulatory authorities, including USDA, FDA, and third-party auditors.
  • Manage and train quality and sanitation leaders/supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in food manufacturing quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of aseptic processing and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $125,000, plus up to 15% annual performance-based bonus.
