Head of Accounting (CPA)

Entyre Care radically supports family caregivers with financial, emotional, and expert resources.

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer.

Your Role

As Head of Accounting , you will be the senior accounting leader responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting across Entyre Cares U.S. operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting functions across multiple state entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee the monthend and yearend close processes, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations.
• Implement standardized accounting practices and controls across entities to ensure consistency and integrity of reporting.
• Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including tax, audit, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and support external audits, ensuring proper documentation and timely responses.
• Provide technical accounting guidance for new transactions and business activities.
• Lead and develop regional accounting teams, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
• Strengthen the internal control environment, ensuring effective segregation of duties and risk mitigation.
• Drive automation and process improvements to accelerate close timelines and improve reporting accuracy.
• Partner with the CFO and IT to enhance accounting systems and financial data architecture.
• Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior leadership.
• Translate accounting results into actionable insights for the CFO and executive team.

Job Requirements

• CPA required or in final stages of certification.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters or MBA preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including multientity or multistate operations.
• Proven experience managing accounting teams and leading consolidations.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and audit procedures.
• Handson experience with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
