About the Role

The Health Information Technology (HIT) Integration Architect will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of integrated health IT systems across clinical, administrative, and analytics domains. This role is pivotal in ensuring interoperability, regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, ONC), and seamless integration of platforms such as EHRs, telehealth, and data exchange systems. • Support security and privacy compliance, including HIPAA, CMMC2.0, and FedRAMP standards.
  • Serve as a technical escalation point for integration issues and change management.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in healthcare IT integration or architecture roles.
  • Proven experience with at least two largescale health IT implementations or modernizations.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, DICOM) and integration protocols.
  • Experience with cloudbased platforms (Azure, AWS) and secure data exchange.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in system design, integration, interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), and cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance (HIPAA, CMMC, FedRAMP) and security protocols.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Knowledge of patientcentered design, workflow optimization, and analytics integration.
  • All applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Cerner, Epic, or other major EHR platforms.
  • Familiarity with government healthcare programs (e.g., VA, CMS, DHCF).
  • Custom product experience across multiple DoD products.

Education & Certification

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; masters degree preferred but not required.
