Overview Job Title: Java Developer Duration: 6+ Months Rate: Up to $82/hr on Vendor W2 – Try to be competitive rate Location: San Jose, CA – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote Responsibilities Back end Java engineers who work on Spring/restful web applications, independently handling assigned tasks with minimal handholding. Understand and follow Agile processes, participate in Scrum ceremonies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and own end-to-end delivery to meet committed timelines without compromising quality. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, coding, testing, validating against acceptance criteria, local testing, staging deployment, and production validation. Prepare demos for product managers to confirm requirements are met and ensure deliverables stay on track. Qualifications Top 3 must-have hard skills Restful web services Core Java, Spring features Writing code, unit tests, functional tests Nice to Have: Database related experience, experience working in IDEs (IntelliJ, Eclipse, etc.), prior PayPal experience.
