Responsibilities Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it. Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance. Interact with business, IT, testing teams and close gaps as needed. Contribute during all phases of the software development lifecycle. Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code. Provide code documentation and other inputs to technical documents. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance and provide on-call support. Define project scope and specifications, estimate resources, develop schedules, test plans and documentation. Identify potential issues between systems and client specifications and propose new solutions. Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams and deliver the solution to the customer. Take end-to-end delivery ownership. Qualifications Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, EJBs, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful services, JMS, interfacing with Kafka/Elasticsearch, AWS (EMR, EKS, MSK), Elasticsearch, Datadog, Istio, Spring Boot Java. Knowledge of BM ODM Rules Engine, DynamoDB, ELK, Kafka/MSK, and related technologies. Understanding of AngularJS. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Understanding of PL/SQL stored procedures and packages. Nice to Have Angular coding, Docker containers. Experience with NoSQL databases like Mongo/CouchDB.
