Tutors Impacting Public Schools (TIPS) supports students, teachers, and school communities, providing representative, culturally responsive classroom tutors to enable student and school success. TIPS serves over 1000 students in grades K-12 each year, in partnerships with schools across the Puget Sound region. We provide competitive pay, classroom experience, training, and access to professional education networks for college/university students, career‑switchers, community members, retirees, and parents who seek to bring their knowledge, interest, and diverse experience to make a difference for children and youth. Tutors may serve as circulating classroom assistants, lead small groups, or provide individual academic, emotional, or social support at school sites during regular school hours.
