Mailroom Processing Clerk

Lexington, KY

$15 per hour & great benefits starting on your first day

Monday- Friday 8 am- 4 pm (flexible after training successfully completed)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Mailroom Processing Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall mailroom operations. This position requires strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages from USPS, UPS, and FedEx for various Lines of Business (LOBs)
\n
• Process and log certified mail, UPS, and FedEx deliveries
\n
• Move boxes from the ScanQC area to storage racks in the mailroom and track inventory
\n
• Cross-train on all other mailroom-related tasks as needed
\n
• Maintain organized mailroom operations and ensure the timely delivery of all items
\n
• Receive and follow coaching and training to continuously improve performance
\n

Minimum Requirements

\n
• High school diploma or GED
\n
• Basic PC and Internet skills (data entry experience a plus)
\n
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel preferred, but not required
\n
• Must be able to pass a criminal background screening with education verification
\n
• Must be able to pass a drug test
\n
• Must be able to complete 4 weeks of training without attendance issues
\n
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 25–35 lbs. daily
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• Previous experience in a mailroom, warehouse, or administrative support role
\n
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
\n
• Dependable and punctual with a positive attitude
\n

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated hourly rate for this role is $15.00 which may be below your state’s minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying.
