Role Summary

As a Manual Machinist, you will:

• Operate manual lathes and mills to machine stainless steel parts for flow control valves.
• Verify the quality of your work using precision measurement tools.
• Also operate a Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL).

This is a second shift position: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM , with potential for overtime.

Responsibilities & Requirements

We’re looking for someone who can:

• Inspect first articles and ensure quality using precision measurement tools.
• Meet production goals related to efficiency and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with fellow machinists to solve equipment issues.
• Communicate effectively with the machine shop lead about work-in-progress.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• 5+ years of experience operating manual lathes and mills; experience with VTL is a plus.
• Expertise in machining 300-series stainless steel and other high-performance alloys.
• Strong blueprint reading skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• A collaborative spirit and a professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
