Description: Supports defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific / engineering research, capability / limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis / characterizations, facility and vulnerability assessments. This includes, but not limited to, civil / industrial engineering and sub disciplines of environmental, power system, pipeline, petroleum, structural, manufacturing, geotechnical, transportation, highway, material science, seismic / earthquake, construction, hydrology, and water resource engineering. Collaboratively integrates analytic results findings or production with other related analytic efforts and assessments. Professional or academic coursework related to oil and natural gas industries, including extraction, refining, storage, pipeline distribution. Operations during normal and emergency operations. Work related experience, and/or relevant academic experience at oil and natural gas facilities. Research, analyze, and evaluate classified and open-source intelligence; identify intelligence gaps and submit collection requirements. Make detailed, all-source assessments and prepare quality intelligence products that adhere to IC analytic tradecraft standards on complex oil and gas facilities and networks. Assess production capabilities, deficiencies, and vulnerabilities of foreign oil and natural gas industries to understand their impact on military capabilities. Maintain, monitor, and ensure the quality of databases on facilities, installations, and networks. Perform vulnerability assessments of petroleum and national gas facilities. Collaborate with IC colleagues and foreign partners. Enhance reporting quality by improving requirements submission and fostering effective collaboration within the IC. Experience with tools such as: iSpy Message traffic tools MARS ArcPro Geospatial data tools Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph or the ability to obtain CI Polygraph. Desired experiences: At least 8 years of relevant analysis experience, with recent experience within the last 2 years. Desired education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution. Alternatively, 12 years of experience in the specific labor category can substitute for a degree.
