Job Title: Mortgage Operations Analyst
Location: Tempe, AZ or Dallas, TX

Type: (Hybrid 3 Days On-site, 2 Days Remote)
Duration: 12+ Months

Pay Range: $35.00 to $39.00 Hourly

Job Description:

ASK Consulting is seeking a Mortgage Operations Analyst to join a leading financial services client. This role focuses on managing escalations, analyzing mortgage servicing activities, and ensuring timely issue resolution in compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in mortgage servicing, client services, or loan operations, and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely support for inquiries and escalations, ensuring resolution within defined SLAs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and management to coordinate responses and follow-ups.
• Monitor internal reporting tools to identify, track, and manage escalations.
• Conduct detailed reviews of mortgage loans, particularly in early to late-stage delinquency.
• Partner with external vendors to ensure accurate and timely resolution of escalations.
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to track inquiry volumes, response times, and trends.
• Assess reported issues for potential client impact and communicate findings appropriately.
• Support the Servicing Oversight team with backup coverage and ad hoc projects.
• Contribute to process improvement and oversight initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general Windows navigation.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in client services or mortgage servicing (loan onboarding, loan administration, or default management).
• 1+ years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of escrow, insurance, tax tracking, and payment processing.
• Familiarity with mortgage servicing tools (MSP/Director preferred).
• Understanding of regulatory guidelines applicable to mortgage servicing.
• Bachelors degree preferred.
