Motion Designer

Location: Medina, OH (In-Office 5x/week)

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a Motion Designer to join our in-house creative team in Medina, OH. This role is about bringing stories to life through movement—transforming strategy and messaging into dynamic, emotionally resonant visual content. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a strong sense of timing, composition, and storytelling. You’ll collaborate with designers, editors, and strategists to produce compelling motion graphics that drive engagement and inspire action.

What You’ll Do

• Create high-impact motion graphics for digital campaigns, social media, video content, and presentations.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director and other team members to conceptualize and execute visual storytelling.
• Animate typography, illustrations, and visual elements to enhance narrative and brand messaging.
• Edit and composite video footage, integrating motion design seamlessly.
• Develop storyboards, style frames, and prototypes to communicate ideas.
• Stay current with animation trends, techniques, and tools.
• Ensure brand consistency across all motion assets.
• Present concepts and final deliverables to internal teams and clients.

Required Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in motion design or animation.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant tools.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for crafting visually engaging content.

Nice-to-Haves:

• A portfolio showcasing a range of motion design work, including campaign-driven content.
• Experience working in creative agencies or freelance environments.
• Skills in 3D animation (Cinema 4D, Blender) or interactive media.
• Familiarity with political or advocacy-related content.
• Background in illustration or graphic design.
• Sound design or audio editing experience.
