Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Are you a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to break into sales? Join our growing team as our first in-house Appointment Setter / Sales Development Representative (SDR) and play a key role in driving new business opportunities from day one.

This hybrid role combines traditional appointment setting with proactive lead generation , making it perfect for someone who’s eager to grow into a high-earning sales career.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Make outbound calls to small business owners from our internal lead lists
  • Actively prospect and source new leads through platforms like Google, LinkedIn, online directories, networking, and in-person drop-ins
  • Qualify prospects and set appointments for the outside sales team
  • Follow scripts, handle objections, and engage in consultative conversations
  • Track outreach activity and lead notes in our CRM
  • Collaborate daily with leadership to improve pitch strategy and messaging
  • Maintain professionalism, consistency, and a positive attitude on every call
What We’re Looking For
  • Some experience in outbound phone sales, appointment setting, or cold outreach
  • A plus if you’ve sourced your own leads before (cold email, LinkedIn, local business outreach, etc.)
  • Confident, curious, and coachable with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections
  • Organized and disciplined with time management and CRM hygiene
  • Motivated by personal goals and excited to help build something from the ground up
  • Must be able to work on-site in Charlotte, NC
Bonus Points For:
  • Previous BDR/SDR, call center, or merchant services experience
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar prospecting tools
  • A strong network or relationships with local business owners in the Charlotte area
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) communication skills
