Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a CPA firm in Narragansett, RI that is seeking a temporary full-time Office Assistant to support both administrative and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an accounting office environment, strong computer skills, and excellent communication abilities when interacting with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Contact clients to request missing tax information and follow up to ensure timely submissions.
Assist clients with meeting filing deadlines and staying on task.
Scan, organize, and manage documents; create PDFs and upload/download files from client portals.
Conduct daily post office runs.
Perform general administrative duties as needed to support the office team.
Required Skills & Experience:
Previous experience working in an accounting office or similar professional setting preferred.
Strong computer proficiency, ideally with:
Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
PDFfiller
ProSeries Tax Software
Zoom
Excellent phone and communication skills, with confidence in contacting clients directly.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Dependable, flexible, and professional demeanor.
