What You Will Be Responsible For Physical Design: Handle all aspects of physical design and implementation from RTL to GDS in an advanced node process (sub 12nm). Custom Flow: Set up your own APR flow from scratch in Innovus, or write your own simulated anneal placer if needed. Work around limitations like the absence of Liberty files for our circuits. Design Optimization: Identify physical bottlenecks at various levels, coordinate with layout, and explore opportunities to increase utilization. Automation: Develop automated APR pipelines to support continuous updates to the standard cell library and benchmark changes. Documentation & Training: Document the digital design flow thoroughly to enable future designs. How You Will Stand Out BSEE/MSEE or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of Cadence tools like Innovus & Virtuoso. 5+ years experience in advanced node (sub 12nm) design with mask coloring. Strong software development skills.
