The Physician Recruiter plans, coordinates, and implements processes regarding the recruitment and hiring of physicians for the University of Miami Health System (UHealth). The Physician Recruiter advises and collaborates with leadership, clinical departments, internal business units, and external recruitment partners, overseeing physician and provider recruitment and onboarding activities. Core job functions include providing consultative physician/provider recruitment and onboarding services, partnering with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, coordinating recruitment activities including advertising and candidate sourcing, overseeing applicant tracking system processes, maintaining knowledge of the health system and regional communities, preparing employment offers, assisting with onboarding activities, collaborating with leadership to update department resources, seeking new ideas and best practices in recruitment, completing data collection and reporting assignments, exemplifying excellent customer service and communication, maintaining compliance with employment laws, and adhering to university policies. The position requires an associate degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, and skills in learning agility, teamwork, technical proficiency, and communication.
