We are a busy, well-established orthopedic clinic specializing in shoulder and elbow conditions, seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team on a per diem basis. This role is designed to provide coverage during staff vacations or absences, with a focus exclusively on clinic consultations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PA with orthopedic experience who is comfortable working independently in a clinic setting and looking for occasional, flexible work.

Position Highlights

• Per diem role — coverage needed on an as-needed basis, typically 2–3 days at a time

• Clinic-only responsibilities — no surgical or OR duties required

• Work with a specialized orthopedic team focused on shoulder and elbow care

• Collaborative, patient-centered work environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct new and follow-up patient consultations in a high-volume orthopedic clinic

• Perform ultrasound-guided injections (shoulder/elbow)

• Educate patients on treatment options, including PRP and orthobiologics

• Collaborate with attending physicians on care plans

• Document all encounters accurately using our EMR system (EPIC experience a plus)

Requirements

• Board-Certified Physician Assistant licensed in [State]

• At least 1 year of orthopedic or musculoskeletal clinic experience

• Proficient in ultrasound-guided joint injections

• Familiarity with PRP/orthobiologic treatments

• Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
