Job Description

An employer is looking for a Principal Engineer to join their team in the Seaport district of Boston, MA 3x a week. This person will join the core services team of a well-established travel company as they go through a large web transformation. He/she will be helping with greenfield development on the publicly facing website in C# . NET. The role will be a heavily hands-on role but someone should be comfortable helping mentor more junior team members and will be involved in design conversations. The Principal should be comfortable with Domain Driven Design concepts and should be able to design, operate, and secure microservices. This is a great opportunity to help build the new customer-facing website from the ground up.
Compensation for this role is 160-190k per year annually. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.

-7+ years of experience within software development
-Strong experience designing and coding a customer facing web application in C#
-2+ years of experience working with . NET Core
-Cloud experience (Azure Preferred)
-Strong Domain Driven Design experience
