Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Proofreader to join our team. As a Proofreader at Walbunn Tech Pro, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of all written materials produced by our company. This includes but is not limited to marketing materials, technical documents, and client communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proofread and edit all written materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards
- Check for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors
- Verify facts, dates, and statistics to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with writers and designers to ensure that the content is clear, concise, and consistent
- Make necessary changes and suggestions to improve the overall quality of the content
- Ensure that all materials are error-free and ready for publication or distribution
- Maintain and update style guides, templates, and other resources used for proofreading
- Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance the quality of written materials
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a proofreader or in a similar role
- Excellent command of the English language, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
- Proficient in using proofreading tools and software
- Familiarity with style guides and formatting standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously
