QA Engineer Microsoft Azure Data Fabric Pipelines

Location: Remote or Hybrid (U.S.-based candidates preferred)

Type: Full-Time | Contract or Direct Hire

Experience Level: Mid-Level

Compensation: $ 55- 60/hr

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, SSIS packages, and Fabric integrations
• Validate Salesforce-to-Fabric data loads and transformations across structured and semi-structured data sources
• Perform data quality checks, regression testing, and performance validation of large datasets
• Leverage automation tools where applicable to scale QA processes
• Validate DevOps deployment workflows and provide QA sign-off on pipeline changes
• Perform root cause analysis on failed jobs and collaborate with data engineers for resolution
• Track defects and work with the team through remediation and re-validation

Required Skills:

• 3 5+ years of QA or Data QA experience, with at least 2+ years in an Azure environment
• Familiarity with ADF , SSIS , and Microsoft Fabric
• Strong understanding of data QA techniques , including row-level validation, reconciliation, and sampling strategies
• Experience testing Salesforce-based data integrations
• Working knowledge of SQL for validation queries
• Exposure to Azure DevOps , Git source control, and test automation frameworks
