Primary FunctionThe Director, Regulatory Affairs is a shared regulatory resource across the Corporate Technology Center, North American Water Heating, Lochinvar, North American Water Treatment, and the Legal Department. While directly reporting to the Vice President of Government, Regulatory and Industry Affairs. The Director will lead and assist in the development and execution of regulatory strategies that will both inform and advance the companys business objectives across its product business units. The Director will also provide engineering and policy analysis to business unit leaders to assist in advancing the Companys business objectives in front of U.S. (Federal and State) and international regulatory and policy making bodies, and non-governmental organizations in North America.
ResponsibilitiesFacilitates and assists product engineering, management, and sales teams with analyzing, assessing, and ensuring compliance with current regulatory standards.
Resource to the Global Director of Certification and Reliability to ensure that all covered products are properly certified with international and domestic (e.g. U.S. federal and state) governmental certification requirements.
