As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a government location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the designated area, remaining highly visible to assist in preventing potential incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This is an unarmed, driving position, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle while performing your patrol duties. You will act as a resource for visitors and staff, responding to situations as they arise and communicating clearly with both the public and your team. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to staff and visitors as needed.
• Complete required logs, reports, and/or documentation in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and provide proof.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
