As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to provide reassurance to staff and visitors, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. You will be a key point of contact, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone you encounter. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for unusual activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail environment to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities according to company and client requirements.
• Collaborate with store staff and management to support security-related needs and foster a positive customer experience.
• Remain visible and approachable to assist customers, address questions, and provide information as needed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
