We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Accountant to oversee financial reporting, compliance, and analysis for our client's hospitality operations. This role is crucial in maintaining financial accuracy while supporting business decisions that drive profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review monthly financial statements, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain accuracy in journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Revenue & Expense Oversight: Ensure compliance with revenue recognition principles and monitor expense allocations.
• Tax & Compliance: Coordinate tax filings, audits, and regulatory requirements specific to the hospitality industry.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing annual budgets and financial projections to support business strategy.
• Cost Control & Profitability: Analyze costs related to operations, staffing, and vendor contracts to maximize efficiency.
• System Improvements: Optimize accounting software and workflow automation to enhance financial accuracy and reporting speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax compliance for hotel and restaurant operations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or hospitality-specific systems) .
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
