Job Description

STV is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Public Works, Education Sectors for our PM/CM Group.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Organizing cross-functional activities and coordinating project work efforts to ensure completion within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Managing and directing proposal development, project initiation, execution, control, and closeout for construction projects.
  • Overseeing project budgets, handling extra work requests, and invoicing.
  • Participating in project-specific marketing, proposal preparation, and presentations to secure projects.
  • Planning project execution and developing project manuals.
  • Working with Senior Managers to schedule and monitor manpower against project budgets and performance, managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, communication, resources, procurement, and risk to optimize client service and fiscal responsibility.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience as a senior member interacting with clients onsite, capable of managing projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Ability to assist in procuring work opportunities within the market sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with BIM, P6, Procore, or E-builder is a plus.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of project contracts, terms, and scope of work.
  • Formal project management training preferred; certifications like LEED, PMP, CCM, RA, PE are advantageous but not required.
