Machine Operator

• 2nd Shift : Monday - Thursday 3:00pm-1:00am, $18.06-$19.08/hour

The Role:
As a machine operator, you are performing machine set-up, operating the machine, basic inspection to ensure quality product, and machine tear-down. The operator is standing for a majority of their shift.

You will spend your time:

• Perform machine setup, tear-down, and operate equipment
• Operate machine during product run
• Perform assembly change over as needed
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Maintain clean and orderly workstations and equipment
• Follow prescribed safety regulations
• Complete tasks as designated by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
• Perform electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes using hand tools and electronic tools
• May rotate to various workstations as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications include but not limited to:

• Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to be on your feet for a 10-hour shift
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work mandatory overtime with notice
• Ability to read and speak English

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials (0-10 lbs.) up to 50% of time worked
• Must be able to lift up to 10-30 pounds, chest height up to 5% of time worked.
• Frequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching and walking
