Our sellers range from Fortune 50 companies to countless small businesses and entrepreneurs across 135 countries, all relying on our exceptional technology to enhance their growth on Amazon's Marketplaces. In this pivotal role, you will provide both strategic and tactical leadership to develop features that enhance our best-in-class offerings for sellers. You will establish mechanisms that drive optimal seller behavior for FBA inventory management, effectively reducing total supply chain costs while simplifying the process of getting inventory closer to customers and ensuring timely deliveries.

In this dynamic environment, you will innovate ways to deliver added value for sellers and their products, utilizing the vast scale and advanced technology available across the Amazon ecosystem, including AWS. Key Responsibilities:

• Solve complex business problems and devise elegant technical solutions.
• Utilize object-oriented principles, algorithms, and data structures to build scalable systems.
• Design, launch, and re-architect multi-tiered systems with substantial data flows.
• Adapt quickly in a fast-paced development environment, focusing on simple yet extensible code.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
• 3+ years of experience with at least one programming language.
• 3+ years in leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Demonstrated coding, designing, and implementation excellence that sets an example for others.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of promoting engineering excellence in areas like coding standards and code reviews.
• Experience in architecting, developing, and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Familiarity with component architecture, simplification, and code refactoring.
• Background in high-volume transaction processing.
• Experience in retail/e-commerce system design on a global scale.
