Talent Acquisition Partner (University Hiring) Appian UK

Were looking for a Campus Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team and support Appian's University Recruiting program. Youll manage the full-lifecycle recruiting process for university candidates and maintain relationships with university departments, career centers, student groups, and department faculty. University Talent Acquisition is a cornerstone of Appians talent strategy, and you will be a prominent contributor in shaping our culture and innovation. This role is based at our headquarters in McLean, Virginia. Employees hired for this position are expected to be in the office 5 days a week to foster collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Own candidate lifecycle from start to finish, including sourcing, interviewing, negotiating, and closing
• Effectively source candidates on a variety of recruiting platforms
• Contribute to building positive brand recognition locally, domestically, and internationally
• Partner with hiring leaders across departments as a strategic advisor
• Continually help improve, evolve and scale our interview best practices
• Understand Appians business strategy and competitive positioning
• Travel up to 20% during peak recruiting seasons

Qualifications

• Passion for recruiting students, with a history of recruiting and event management
• Outstanding ability to cultivate relationships with university students and internal senior leadership
• Ability to attract talented, diverse students from top universities; experience working with students at all academic levels
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing team environment
• Develops and executes diversity sourcing strategies and partnerships
• Ability to manage multiple activities such as candidate pipelining, relationship-building, event staffing, scheduling, high-volume interview scheduling, and maintaining job postings
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and presentation tools (Google Slides, PowerPoint, Canva, etc.)
• Enjoys planning and executing creative events to build brand with partner universities and programs
• Comfortable with delivering presentations or public speaking
• Works with hiring managers to understand evolving business needs and position requirements
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent
