This opportunity entails being responsible for working directly with technical staff to develop accurate and persuasive content for qualifications, proposals and reports. Will also perform editing, formatting and quality reviews to ensure consistency in written project communication materials.

What You’ll Do:

  • Works with Division Marketing and technical staff to write, format and edit content for qualifications, proposals and reports.

  • Edits and formats content written by others, ensuring consistency in writing style and approach throughout various documents.

  • Gathers information through research, statistical reports, and interviews with technical staff.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Communications or related field and 2 years of relevant experience

What We Prefer:

  • Proven experience editing technical content for proposals, qualifications, and reports in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry

  • Familiarity with AP, Chicago, or in-house style guides and ability to enforce style consistency across complex documents

  • Strong understanding of the proposal lifecycle (SOQs, RFPs, RFQs) and ability to collaborate with proposal teams to meet tight deadlines

  • Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and clarity in editing technical and marketing content

  • Ability to simplify complex technical language for diverse audiences while maintaining technical accuracy

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent projects

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to diplomatically provide editorial feedback to subject matter experts
