Overview The National Marine Sanctuary Foundation and West Virginia University are seeking applications for a Temporary Field Interviewer to conduct intercept surveys at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum in Manitowoc. Survey questions ask visitors about their visit to the area and their thoughts and perceptions about the Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary. Responsibilities Conduct intercept surveys with visitors at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum as assigned, gathering feedback on their visit and perceptions of the Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast National Marine Sanctuary. Schedule and Compensation The position will be scheduled approximately 20 hours per week, and the wage is $17.52/hour. The position will start in October and continue through Spring 2026. There may be opportunity to continue work through Summer 2026, primarily at outdoor locations (e.g., city parks, state parks, lighthouses) beginning in spring.
