Placer Private Physicians is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Rocklin, CA - located just outside Sacramento in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains!

We choose the direct primary care model for very simple reasons - to slow things down and to spend more time with our patients! WHERE WE ARE:
Rocklin, CA is located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills on I-80 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. The local area offers all the great amenities you would expect in an urban area including top notch schools, fitness centers, restaurants, shopping, entertainment centers, live music, festivals, fairs, museums, professional sport teams, and an international airport. The surrounding area also offers world class outdoor activities including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, backpacking, camping, fly fishing, hunting, off-roading, and horseback riding. Rocklin is a short drive away from Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Napa, and the Red Woods.
On average, Rocklin has 270 sunny days per year! During the summer, the temperatures range from the upper 90's during the daytime and drop to the low 80's in the evening. Our winter climate is mild. The average temperature in the early mornings and evenings is in the low 40's and during the daytime in the upper 50's. And if you miss the snow, drive an hour or two up the hill!
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Time with patients – physicians on average see 8-10 patients in office per day!
- Compensation: Year 1 and 2 guarantees of $250,000 with production bonus

POSITION DETAILS:
- Family Medicine direct primary care office
- 32 patient facing hours per week / 4 days per week patient scheduling
- Physicians on average see 8-10 patients per day (in-office and telemedicine)
- Opportunity to schedule home visits and family / group meetings
- Telemedicine
- Office hours: M-F from 8 am-5 pm
- Shared call schedule with partners 1:4 (normally light call with well cared for patients)
- Each physician has a dedicated medical assistant
- 6 weeks per year of time away from the office for vacation and CME
- Medical, dental, and vision health plans
- CME allowance
- EPIC Electronic Medical Records
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Current California medical license (or willingness to obtain CA License prior to position start date)
- Current Board Certification in Family Medicine
- Unable to offer Visa Sponsorships
