\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling: 6:45 AM-7:15 PM or 6:45 PM-7:15 AM
\n• Day shift options at 7 AM, 9 AM, 12 PM; night shift options at 3 PM, 7 PM
\n• Every other weekend requirement (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), may be every weekend depending on staffing
\n• Expected to work holidays as part of permanent staff rotation
\n• One day floor-specific orientation provided
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required, trauma experience preferred
\n• First time travelers accepted
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
\n• Patient ratios: 2:1 to 4:1
\n• Handle approximately 250 patient visits per day
\n• Work with various patient types including STEMI, cardiac, sepsis, ETOH, stroke, DKA cases
\n• Utilize Cerner PowerChart EMR system
\n• Scrub color requirement: Blue for RNs
\n• Work with 22 hardwired GE monitors both in rooms and at nurses station
\n• Collaborate with ER techs for technical duties and security support
\n• No floating required
\n• BSN not required

\nThis acute care medical center features a 24-bed emergency department with fast track capabilities and specialized care areas. The facility operates as a STEMI receiving center and provides comprehensive emergency services with 24/7 support from respiratory therapy and pharmacy departments. The emergency department is equipped with modern monitoring systems and maintains a collaborative care model with physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners on staff.
