\nRN - Med Surg
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work on a 36-bed medical/surgical unit providing 24-hour nursing care
\n• Float required as part of assignment
\n• Patient ratio of 1:5/6 in a fast-paced environment
\n• Care for patients from adolescents (17 years and older) to geriatric population
\n• Manage patients with general and surgical needs including general surgery, colorectal surgery, mastectomy, thyroidectomy, urology, women's health, gynecology, ENT, trauma, cardiothoracic, orthopedic, and spinal/neuro overflow
\n• Provide care for women experiencing obstetrical issues including intra-uterine fetal demise, preeclampsia, hyperemesis, substance abuse withdrawal, and diabetic pregnancies
\n• Must have high patient turnover management skills - potential to discharge and admit multiple patients during single shift
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Epic experience within the last year required
\n• 2+ years of recent med/surg experience required
\n• Must have accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE
\n• Solid black scrubs required
\n• RTO limited to maximum of 7 days and not allowed during first two weeks of assignment
\n• Block schedules not accommodated
