Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in PACU / Preop
• Facility Department/Cost Center: 704
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Days with some call on nights and weekends
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
• Call Requirements: Once notified of a case, must be at work within 30 minutes
• Float Requirements: Shared position with Preop, no expectation to float elsewhere
• Years of Experience Required: 2
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Prior PACU experience
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Preop and PACU
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Appendectomy, Gallbladder procedures
• Patient Population: Primarily adult, occasional ENT cases once a month
• Dress Code: No open-toed shoes or fake fingernails

Job Requirements

• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Must be fingerprinted before hire as per New Mexico state requirements
• Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting on fingerprint results but must be supervised
• All clinical staff must have required certifications at submission

Schedule Information

• Shift: Days with some call on nights and weekends
• Work week is around 40 hours
• On call coverage on weekends
