Employment Opportunity

Inter-Con is searching for motivated individuals to fill the exciting role of an Unarmed Security Officer. In this role, youll work as a galvanized member of an elite team of security operators protecting some of our nations most critical assets.

Requirements

• Be a Citizen of the United States
• Possess a valid U.S. Drivers License
• Be a minimum of 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalentcy
• Any combination of two years of experience in physical security (as a security officer - armed or unarmed)
• Associate degree in a Security or Law Enforcement related field, or Successful completion of a police officers basic training academy preferred

Work Environment and Schedule

Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors. Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Access Control
• Processing visitors for entry into a facility
• Conducting inspections and screenings
• Patrol and responding to calls
• Directing traffic
• Monitoring and operating security and safety systems
• Reporting incidents and writing reports of the incidents
