RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a UX Researcher.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of user research across product lifecycles
The UX Researcher will design and implement qualitative and quantitative research studies using best-in-class methods
Conduct ethnographic research including site visits, field studies, and contextual inquiries
Analyze research findings and synthesize them into strategic recommendations
Present results and insights clearly through reports, presentations, and stakeholder discussions
Advocate for the user by integrating research into design and product decisions
Guide the development and maintenance of research repositories and documentation
Facilitate design reviews, workshops, and ideation sessions with stakeholders
The UX Researcher will mentor junior researchers and contribute to building research operations and team culture
Stay informed on industry trends, emerging methodologies, and new tools
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience in UX research or a related field
Background in human factors, information architecture, interactive design, or market research is a plus
Proficiency in a wide range of UX research techniques (e.g., usability testing, heuristic evaluations, journey mapping, card sorting, lo-fi prototyping, benchmarking)
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate research goals, insights, and strategies to diverse audiences
Experience collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and facilitation skills
Able to work independently and manage multiple research initiatives simultaneously
Experience creating personas, journey maps, and other UX deliverables to support design decisions
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
