Video Editor Summary: Manipulate and rearrange video shots to create new works. Perform post-production tasks including titling, color correction, sound mixing, and shooting, working closely with the producer. Capture a wide range of materials for different content types. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned.) Proficient in audio editing, music editing, mixing, and mastering. Proficient in non-linear video editing, experienced with various software. Capture diverse materials for TV shows, music videos, documentaries, TV studio, short films, and other shooting events inside/outside premises. Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere, Media Encoder, Photoshop, After Effects. Skilled in audio recording and editing software such as ProTools, Apple Soundtrack Pro, Adobe Audition, and Apple Logic Pro. Knowledge of video encoding, authoring, and output standards for distribution formats including DVD and web. Collaborate with production team members (animators, graphic designers, audio engineers, web developers, creative directors, producers) to incorporate multimedia elements. Maintain a keen eye for brand and style guidelines and their translation into video and motion content. Proficient camera operator, capable of shooting and managing cameras in-studio and off-site. Serve as camera operator and/or director for recordings. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: Associates Degree (2-year) or 2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Born-again Christian, conducting affairs according to the Bible and maintaining a lifestyle consistent with Scripture.
