Role Overview

As the Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering Manager, your leadership will drive excellence in our engineering sector within a dynamic lean manufacturing space. Collaborate with an array of departments and lead projects that push the boundaries of innovation while nurturing our engineering talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and mentor the engineering and development teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Implement and leverage cutting-edge technology to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Establish and track engineering metrics to ensure departmental success.
  • Steer key projects from inception through completion, supporting product line enhancements.
  • Collaborate on design reviews, addressing and re-engineering processes to streamline production.
  • Manage and ensure compliance with AS9100 Quality Clauses, ensuring process integrity.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering fields; a higher degree is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years in a manufacturing landscape, accompanied by leadership expertise.
  • Mastery in PM tools and communication, essential for team and project coordination.
  • Lean Manufacturing and ERP systems experience are crucial for success.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for fostering team development and driving change.
