Career Opportunity – Chief Executive Officer

Our Client, is seeking to recruit a dynamic leader for its operations in Barbados as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This position will report to the Board of Directors (Managers).

The Role

Reporting to the Managers, the CEO will be responsible for: 

• Leading a team of six professionals. He/she will ensure that the right talent is recruited, and that the team has clear roles and responsibilities with frequent performance management reviews to facilitate development, creating a positive work culture/environment.
• Full autonomy of the daily operations and the creation of a rolling three-year strategic plan. This plan will be reviewed and signed off by the Managers annually, with quarterly progress updates.
• Effectively leveraging the people, processes and technologies while improving profitability levels.
• Managing relationships with the Society’s international agents.

The Candidate

At least five years of experience working with clients in the international business sector with familiarity with Business Companies (Economic Substance) Act and the Societies with Restricted Liabilities Act.

• Working knowledge of patents and intellectual property.
• Should be versed in matters of compliance and governance, in reporting, record keeping and tax management.
• Experience in office management and an understanding of accounting practices.
• Experience working with clients in the beverage industry would be an asset.
