Import / Export PLANNER

This role is based in RJ Reynolds Tobacco. The Logistics Import & Export Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the inbound and outbound flow of goods from international suppliers to domestic facilities and vice versa. This role ensures timely, cost?effective, and compliant Import & Export operations while maintaining alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities


  • Documentation triggering, validation and data management
  • Document management and security
  • Vendor & carrier coordination
  • Inventory & demand alignment
  • Compliance and risk management
  • Reporting and systems (SAP)


What We Are Looking For
  • Up?to?date knowledge of Incoterms and import & export documentation requirements
  • Deep understanding of international logistics and trade regulations
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in ERP and logistics platforms (e.g., SAP or similar)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Analytical and problem?solving mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities & stakeholders
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of progressive experience, OR Associate degree in Logistics/Technical/Business with 5+ years experience, OR Bachelor of Science in Logistics/Technical/Business with 3+ years experience
