\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts on weekend schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
\n• 36 or 48 hours can be offered per week
\n• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
\n• 13-week contract assignments available
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required
\n• Unit will accept first-time travelers
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH
\n• Required skills: IV Start and Telemetry
\n• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
\n• Floating required as needed to similar units
\n• Care for pre/post catheterization patients, pacemaker and AICD patients
\n• Manage patients with TIA, carotid stent procedures, and cardiac arrhythmias
\n• Administer cardiac drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Renal Dose Dopamine, Lasix, and non-titrating Nitro
\n• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
\n• Epic charting system experience preferred
\n• NC or Compact license required
\n• Any absences must be made up at end of contract
\n• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or 60 hours per week
\n• Must complete 8-10 hours of non-billable modules pre-start

\nThis healthcare organization operates a 24-bed inpatient cardiac procedural unit specializing in cardiac telemetry and pre/post cardiac procedural patients. The facility features rapid patient turnover with an average length of stay of 1.8-2.4 days and maintains a daily census of 19 patients. The unit is equipped with in-room monitoring and EKG capabilities, remote telemetry monitoring, and modern equipment including new beds and lift equipment. Comprehensive interdisciplinary support services are available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
